Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Cooling and Freezing Equipment Operator to ensure optimal temperature and humidity levels in our hog cooling systems. The ideal candidate will monitor and maintain ventilation systems, ensuring the health and welfare of livestock while contributing to superior meat quality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of cooling systems and equipment.
• Adjust environmental controls based on real-time data.
• Educate colleagues about animal welfare practices.
• Identify areas for improvement in operational efficiency.
• Act quickly to troubleshoot any equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain thorough documentation of daily operations.
• Engage in continuous training for system advancements.
• Report daily findings related to hog health and cooling conditions.
• Assist in audits and compliance checks as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in livestock management or animal care is highly preferred.

Technical Skills

• Understanding of refrigeration systems
