Job Description
As a Braille Transcriber, you will transform written materials into braille formats to make them accessible for individuals who are blind or visually impaired. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and accuracy of these transcriptions.
Responsibilities
Consistently update and maintain transcription equipment and software.
Create and manage administrative reports related to transcription work.
Assist in the development of new methodologies for efficient braille transcription.
Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and future initiatives.
Promote awareness regarding braille technology advancements within the organization.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Education, Assistive Technology, or related field
Certification in braille transcription mandatory
Experience
3+ years of experience in braille transcription or assistive technology
