Job Description

Join our multidisciplinary team as an Orthotist and Prosthetist, where you will utilize your expertise in biomechanics to craft personalized footwear solutions. Collaborate closely with physical therapists and podiatrists to optimize the care provided to patients with diverse needs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough foot assessments using advanced diagnostic tools.
  • Utilize 3D scanning technology for custom orthotic design.
  • Evaluate and modify orthotic devices to ensure optimal comfort and functionality.
  • Educate patients about orthotic care and the importance of proper footwear.
  • Work with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Update patient records with treatment plans and progress notes.
  • Attend workshops and conferences to enhance professional skills.
  • Maintain knowledge of current industry trends and innovations.
  • Foster a supportive environment for patients undergoing treatment.
  • Engage in community outreach to raise awareness about pedorthic services.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Orthotic and Prosthetic Technology is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in a clinical or orthopedic setting.
