Job Description

As a Woodworking Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender, you will play a crucial role in preparing logs for further processing. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining power barkers and other machinery to ensure efficiency and safety in our lumber production line.

Responsibilities

• Set machinery operational parameters and calibrate as necessary.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance routines on equipment.
• Report production metrics and anomalies to management.
• Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure workflow efficiency.
• Assist in the training of other production staff on machine operation.

Advantageous

• Forklift Certification: Certification for operating forklifts is a plus.
• Experience with CAD software: Experience with CAD design software for woodworking is beneficial.
