Job Description

As a Printing Press Operator, you will be responsible for running and maintaining printing presses to produce high-quality prints for various applications. Attention to detail and a keen eye for quality are essential in this role. You will work closely with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain digital and offset printing equipment.
  • Check press settings to ensure optimal quality and performance.
  • Conduct quality control checks and troubleshoot issues.
  • Work with design teams to understand project requirements.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflow.
  • Manage inventory of printing supplies and order as necessary.
  • Assist in the color mixing process to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Ensure that production targets are consistently met.
  • Adhere to all safety standards and workplace policies.
  • Document any mechanical issues and coordinate repairs.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associates degree in Printing Technology preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role
