Job Description

The Lathe and Turning Machine Tool Setter, Operator, and Tender plays a crucial role in our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating lathe machines to produce precise metal parts, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the production process.

Responsibilities

  • Operate turning machines according to manufacturing specifications.
  • Conduct quality checks throughout the production process.
  • Ensure tools and machinery are properly calibrated and functioning.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of production schedules.
  • Work closely with quality control to resolve any product issues.
  • Provide feedback for process improvements.
  • Manage the inventory of materials and tools used in operations.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate degree in industrial technology is preferred
Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in machining environments.

  • Caliper and Micrometer Proficiency
