Responsibilities

• Lead projects in rebuilding transmissions from various manufacturers.
• Enhance the quality control processes within the transmission department.
• Interact with suppliers to acquire necessary parts and tools.
• Utilize diagnostic software to troubleshoot complex transmission issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
• Foster a positive company culture by supporting coworkers and sharing knowledge.
• Manage inventory of transmission parts and tools efficiently.
• Prepare performance reports for management review.
• Support marketing efforts through customer engagement and service excellence.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Formal training or certification in automotive technology is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with transmission rebuilds.

Technical Skills

• Automatic and Manual Transmission Knowledge
• Mechanical Aptitude

Soft Skills

• Team Player
• Time Management

Certifications

• ASE Certification in Transmission/Transaxle
• Additional automotive certifications (if applicable)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with specific brands: Hands-on experience with brands like Ford, GM, or Honda is a plus.
• Advanced diagnostic skills: Skilled in using advanced diagnostic software for various vehicle brands.
