Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Technologist or Technician with expertise in remotely piloted vehicle systems. This position involves operating and maintaining sophisticated RPVs while ensuring compliance with aviation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Pilot RPVs to conduct aerial surveillance missions.
• Operate sensors to gather and interpret flight data.
• Collaborate with the operations team for mission planning and execution.
• Ensure flight operations adhere to company policies and FAA guidelines.
• Maintain equipment logs and prepare reports on flight performance.
• Assist in troubleshooting RPV systems and advocating for improvements.
• Engage in continuous training to improve operational skillsets.
• Document and analyze operational data for enhanced performance.
• Participate in cross-departmental projects for efficiency improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in aviation technology or a related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in RPV operations and maintenance

Technical Skills

Certifications

• Commercial Drone Pilot License

Languages
