Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Technologist or Technician with expertise in remotely piloted vehicle systems. This position involves operating and maintaining sophisticated RPVs while ensuring compliance with aviation regulations.
Responsibilities
Pilot RPVs to conduct aerial surveillance missions.
Operate sensors to gather and interpret flight data.
Collaborate with the operations team for mission planning and execution.
Ensure flight operations adhere to company policies and FAA guidelines.
Maintain equipment logs and prepare reports on flight performance.
Assist in troubleshooting RPV systems and advocating for improvements.
Engage in continuous training to improve operational skillsets.
Document and analyze operational data for enhanced performance.
Participate in cross-departmental projects for efficiency improvements.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in aviation technology or a related field
Master's degree is a plus
Experience
3+ years of experience in RPV operations and maintenance
