Job Description

As a Flagger at Traffic Solutions Corp., you will play a critical role in maintaining safe traffic flow at construction sites. You will be responsible for directing traffic, setting up and removing traffic control devices, and ensuring a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Educate the public on safe driving behavior near construction sites.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement if needed.
• Anticipate traffic challenges and proactively implement solutions.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of traffic measures and make adjustments.
• Ensure personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn at all times.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or GED

Experience

• Experience in safety or construction preferred.

Technical Skills

• Safety Protocols
• Traffic Control Devices

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Adaptability

Certifications

• First Aid/ CPR Certification
• Flagger Certification - may be obtained on the job

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Traffic Control Training: Additional training in traffic control and site safety management.
• Experience in Hazardous Conditions: Prior experience working in challenging weather and site conditions.
