Job Description

As a Firestop Worker, you will play a critical role in the safety of buildings by installing fire-resistant materials according to industry standards. Your expertise will ensure compliance with safety regulations and performance in various construction environments.

Responsibilities

  • Install firestop systems in commercial and residential buildings.
  • Maintain compliance with building codes and safety regulations throughout the installation process.
  • Collaborate with other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Report any safety issues or concerns to management immediately.
  • Assist in training junior workers on proper installation techniques and safety practices.
  • Participate in safety meetings and adhere to all safety protocols at job sites.

Requirements

Education
  • Vocational training or apprenticeship in construction
Experience
  • Experience in firestop installation is preferred.
Technical Skills
  • Experience with hand tools
