Responsibilities

  • Create and manage initiatives focused on substance abuse prevention.
  • Engage with community members to raise awareness about prevention.
  • Assess local needs and respond with appropriate educational programs.
  • Collaborate with schools and youth organizations to promote healthy choices.
  • Utilize data to track outcomes and inform future programming.
  • Host workshops and seminars to educate individuals on prevention techniques.
  • Provide training for volunteers and community partners.
  • Monitor legislation and advocate for necessary changes.
  • Support individuals in recovery and their families through resources.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Social Work, or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in substance abuse prevention or community health
