Job Description

As a Furnace, Kiln, Oven, Drier, and Kettle Operator, you will be responsible for managing industrial heating equipment to ensure optimal operation. You will be tasked with maintaining production schedules, monitoring equipment, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of various heating equipment including furnaces, kilns, and dryers.
• Ensure all equipment is operated efficiently and safely to meet production targets.
• Keep detailed records of operational efficiency and maintenance.
• Identify and rectify faults in equipment to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff to plan repairs and improvements.
• Participate in safety audits and training sessions.
• Monitor inventory levels of materials used in heating processes.
• Stay updated on industry standards and regulations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry

Technical Skills

• Ability to operate heavy machinery
• Knowledge of HVAC systems

Certifications

• OSHA Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
