Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Record Cutter to join our dedicated production team at Music Works Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting vinyl records with precision, maintaining high standards of quality, and overseeing the production process from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate various vinyl cutting machines.
• Conduct final inspections and adjustments for quality assurance.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Assist in training new operators on machine usage and safety protocols.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferably some formal training in related fields

Experience

• 1-2 years of hands-on experience in record cutting or sound production

Technical Skills

• Machine Calibration
• Quality Control

• Team Collaboration
• Time Management

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Vinyl Formats: Familiarity with the different formats of vinyl records such as 7”, 12”, and picture discs.
• Repair Skills: Experience in repairing or maintaining cutting equipment.
