Environmental Engineering Technologist and Technician

Job Description

As an Environmental Engineering Technologist or Technician, you will assist in the design and implementation of projects aimed at solving environmental issues. You will collect data, perform analyses, and help develop strategies to enhance environmental quality.

Responsibilities

• Assist environmental engineers in the execution of projects.
• Conduct field surveys and feasibility studies.
• Evaluate data from environmental impact assessments.
• Prepare technical documentation and regulatory reports.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards in all operations.
• Assist in developing strategies for waste management and pollution control.
• Prepare presentations to communicate project findings.
• Collaborate on multidisciplinary teams to address environmental issues.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Certification as an Environmental Technician is a plus

Experience

• Experience in environmental consulting or government projects is preferred.
