Job Description

The Elevators, Escalators, and Dumbwaiters Sales Representative is pivotal in driving sales within the technical and manufacturing sectors. This role requires an individual who understands the industry's products and can translate their benefits to customers effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the sales process from initial contact to close, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with engineering and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Understand and articulate the technical aspects of products to clients.
  • Mentor new sales representatives as needed.
  • Implement sales promotions and campaigns effectively.
  • Utilize CRM systems to track leads and manage customer relationships.
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success.
  • Attend sales meetings to share best practices and insights.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Mechanical Engineering is preferred
Experience
  • 2-3 years of sales experience (preferably in the elevator and escalator industry).
Technical Skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and CRM software
Soft Skills
  • Team player with excellent collaboration skills
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Familiarity with building codes and regulations: Knowledge about the codes and regulations governing elevator installations.
  • Experience with design-build delivery method: Practical knowledge of working in a design-build project setting.
