Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Refractory Mason to join our team. As a Refractory Mason, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining refractory materials used in high-temperature industrial applications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead installation projects involving refractory materials in industrial settings.
  • Perform detailed assessments of existing refractory installations to recommend repairs.
  • Utilize masonry tools and machinery effectively and safely during installations.
  • Coordinate with project teams to align schedules and resource requirements.
  • Implement best practices for refractory material handling and usage.
  • Educate and train junior staff on technical and safety-related matters.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on refractory condition assessments.
  • Enforce strict compliance with safety and health regulations on job sites.
  • Facilitate communication between project managers and the masonry team.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the masonry department.

Requirements

Education
  • No formal academic qualifications required. Certification in masonry or relevant vocational training is desirable.
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in refractory masonry or related field.
