We are seeking skilled Sawing Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders for our Richmond facility. The ideal candidates must have experience in operating saw machines and ensuring precision in wood cutting to meet production standards.
Responsibilities
Set up, adjust, and operate sawing machines effectively.
Inspect materials before and after cutting to ensure quality standards.
Conduct routine maintenance checks and report any malfunctions.
Work with production team to schedule machine operations.
Follow safety guidelines and wear protective equipment.
Keep machine operation logs and production records.
Support inventory counts and material handling as needed.
Engage in ongoing training and skill development.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or GED
Associates degree in a relevant field is preferred
Experience
3+ years of hands-on experience in woodworking or similar manufacturing roles
