Job Description

As a Radiosonde Specialist, you will be instrumental in operating, maintaining, and calibrating radiosonde equipment. This role involves both laboratory and fieldwork, where you'll gather vital atmospheric data used in weather forecasting. Your expertise will support advancements in meteorological science.

Responsibilities

  • Launch and track weather balloons to gather atmospheric conditions.
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of instruments.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

  • Mentor junior technicians and interns in best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in a related field is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in radiosonde technology development.
