Job Description

As a Machine Feeder and Offbearer, you will play a crucial role in the cotton harvesting process. Your responsibilities will include operating cotton-picking machines, transporting raw cotton to storage facilities, and maintaining equipment to ensure efficient operation. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, detail-oriented, and possess a strong commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

  • Manage machine operations for optimal cotton harvesting.
  • Oversee the safe loading and unloading of cotton.
  • Conduct equipment checks and report any issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards during operation.
  • Assist in training new employees on machinery use.
  • Coordinate with supervisors to monitor harvesting progress.
  • Maintain inventory records of harvested cotton.
  • Regularly clean and service equipment post-harvest.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience preferred, particularly in cotton handling or harvesting.
