Jig Bore Operator

Job Description

Join our team as a Jig Bore Operator, where your role will include setting up and operating jig bore machines to produce precision components. You will work closely with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and ensure adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate jig borers to perform precision machining of complex components.
• Adjust and calibrate machines based on specifications to achieve optimal performance.
• Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols while operating machinery.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to evaluate finished products.
• Engage in regular maintenance of machines to prevent downtime.
• Assist in troubleshooting machine issues and implementing solutions.
• Train new hires on best practices in jig boring operations.
• Record production metrics and report any discrepancies to management.
• Continuously seek ways to improve production methods and efficiencies.
• Participate in team meetings to contribute ideas for process improvements.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in machining or related field preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills

• CNC Machining
• G-Code Programming

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• CNC Programming Skills: Experience with programming CNC machines for complex machining tasks.
