As a Police Identification and Records Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of inmate identification. You will be responsible for collecting and processing important data, ensuring compliance with regulations while collaborating with law enforcement and correctional staff.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide training to junior staff on record-keeping procedures.
  • Stay updated on policies and regulations affecting inmate records management.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice or a related field
  • Data Management Systems Proficient in managing electronic information management systems.
  • Microsoft Office Suite Advanced user with a focus on Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Attention to Detail Ensure high levels of accuracy in documentation.
  • Communication Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Certification in Corrections or Law Enforcement
  • English (Fluent)
  • Spanish (Basic)
Advantageous
  • Experience with Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS): Knowledge of criminal justice databases and reporting systems.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish: Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse inmate population.
