Job Description

The Council Member will be a key member of the governing body, responsible for making impactful decisions and setting policies to meet community goals. This role involves strong leadership, effective communication, and a commitment to the local community.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively to address community issues and develop actionable solutions.
  • Engage with residents through initiatives and forums to promote civic participation.
  • Review and act on proposed legislation and community programs.
  • Monitor and evaluate community programs for effectiveness and public service.
  • Support and implement local outreach initiatives for improved community relations.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Public Administration or a related field is preferred
Experience
  • Experience with community outreach and engagement initiatives.
