Tariff Supervisor

Job Description

The Tariff Supervisor will oversee the tariff classification process for goods imported or exported by our organization. This role involves ensuring compliance with government regulations and collaborating with various departments. Ideal candidates will have a background in logistics or supply chain management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with special projects related to tariff classification as needed.
• Create, review, and adjust standard operating procedures for tariff classifications.
• Liaise with customs brokers and other service providers to maintain effective communication and compliance.
• Train and mentor junior staff members to enhance team capabilities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in International Business or related field
• Master’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in tariff classification, customs compliance, or logistics.

Languages
