Job Description
As a Neonatal Doctor, you will provide expert care to critically ill newborns in our NICU. You will diagnose and treat various medical conditions, collaborating with a team of specialists to ensure the best outcomes for our youngest patients.
Responsibilities
Oversee the comprehensive care provided to newborns in the NICU.
Collaborate with pediatricians, nurses, and specialists to enhance patient care.
Evaluate treatments and outcomes, making adjustments as necessary.
Educate families on neonatal health and the care procedures.
Participate in hospital committees and community outreach programs.
Document and review patient progress and treatment plans regularly.
Train and mentor medical students and residents in neonatal care practices.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives in neonatal services.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of neonatology through continuous education.
Advocate for the health and well-being of newborns in medical and community settings.
Requirements
Education
Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree
Completion of a residency in Pediatric Medicine
Fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
Experience
At least 5 years of experience practicing as a Neonatologist with hands-on NICU experience.
