As a Christian Counselor, you will provide counseling services that integrate faith and therapeutic principles. You will help individuals, couples, and families navigate life challenges while exploring their spiritual beliefs.
Responsibilities
Facilitate counseling sessions that utilize both therapeutic and Christian frameworks.
Assist clients in exploring their values and beliefs to enhance their overall mental well-being.
Monitor client progress and evaluate the effectiveness of each treatment plan.
Maintain an organized and confidential record of client sessions and progress notes.
Work in partnership with community organizations to promote mental health awareness.
Participate in staff meetings to discuss client cases and share insights with colleagues.
Promote a supportive and inclusive environment for clients from diverse backgrounds.
Engage clients in goal-setting and encourage active participation in their healing process.
Utilize counseling software for efficient documentation and client management.
Requirements
Education
Doctorate in Counseling or Psychology is a plus
Valid state licensure as a Professional Counselor or Marriage and Family Therapist
Experience
3-5 years of experience in a counseling environment.
