Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Bonsai Tender to manage our beautiful bonsai trees. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for horticulture, possess excellent attention to detail, and bring previous experience in caring for bonsai plants.

Responsibilities

• Regularly monitor the health of bonsai trees and assess their needs.
• Create and implement care schedules for various bonsai species.
• Educate customers on bonsai maintenance and best practices.
• Coordinate with the Bonsai Master for special projects or events.
• Attend local plant shows to represent the nursery and promote bonsai art.
• Assist in setting up displays for sales events.
• Participate in workshops to enhance your bonsai care skills.
• Keep the nursery display areas clean and attractive.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification preferred in horticulture or a related field

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of specialized experience with bonsai care.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in retail sales: Previous experience working in a retail environment, especially with plants.
