Mechanical Drafter / CAD Draughter

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Mechanical Drafter / CAD Draughter to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in creating detailed technical drawings and 3D models using CAD software, with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Utilize CAD software to create both 2D and 3D models of components and assemblies.
• Work alongside project engineers to ensure designs meet client expectations.
• Help debug design issues and recommend improvements during the revision process.
• Document design changes and updates for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with vendors regarding material specifications and sourcing.
• Conduct research on manufacturing methods and industry advancements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Technical Skills

• 3D Studio Max
• CATIA

Soft Skills

• Analytical Thinking
• Strong Communication

Certifications

• Certified Engineering Technician (CET)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Java: Experience in programming for automation of CAD processes.
• Experience with advanced visualization tools like virtual or augmented reality software: Hands-on experience creating immersive visualizations.
