Extruding and Drawing Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders, Metal and Plastic

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Extruding and Drawing Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidates will have experience with metal and plastic extrusion processes and be able to operate machinery while maintaining quality standards and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Run and monitor the extrusion process for various materials.
• Calibrate machinery settings for different production runs.
• Review and understand production schedules and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations.
• Assist in conducting quality control assessments on produced items.
• Maintain machinery and report any malfunctions to the maintenance team.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Technical degree in a related field is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of machine operation, specifically in extrusion processes

Technical Skills

• Machinery Troubleshooting
• Production Efficiency

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Communication

Advantageous

• Lean Manufacturing Knowledge: Understanding of lean principles to enhance production efficiency.
• Six Sigma Certification: Experience with Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
