Job Description

We are in search of a dedicated Construction Technician to support various construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with safety regulations and assist in executing construction plans efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Support the construction team in various tasks to ensure project completion.
• Maintain and operate tools and machinery safely.
• Help set up construction sites and ensure material availability.
• Work alongside skilled tradespeople in executing specific tasks.
• Assist in maintaining records and managing project documentation.
• Promote a culture of safety on the job site.
• Engage in continuous training and skill development.
• Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions.
• Contribute ideas for improving workflow and productivity.
• Follow all project deadlines and assist with time management.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in construction or a similar role

Technical Skills

• Construction Equipment Operation
• Blueprint Interpretation
• Safety Protocols Knowledge

Soft Skills

Certifications

• OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety
• First Aid/CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Heavy Machinery Experience: Experience in operating cranes or bulldozers is a plus.
• Specialized Certifications: Additional certifications in plumbing, electrical, or welding preferred.
