Job Description

As a Flight Paramedic, you will be responsible for delivering advanced life support care during the transport of critically injured or ill patients. This role requires a high level of clinical expertise and the ability to thrive in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver critical care and support to patients during airlift.
  • Evaluate patient statuses continuously while in flight.
  • Ensure all medical protocols are followed and addressed.
  • Work closely with doctors and nurses to provide immediate care.
  • Handle medical emergencies with quick reflexes and sound judgment.
  • Keep equipment organized and ready for use.
  • Document all patient interactions and care delivered accurately.
  • Support in the operational readiness of aircraft for patient transport.

Requirements

Education
  • Current certification as a Paramedic
  • National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) certification
  • Previous experience in flight medicine (preferred)
Experience
  • Experience in emergency medical services or critical care environment
