Job Description

As a Billing and Posting Clerk (Check Writer), you will play a crucial role in maintaining our organization's financial integrity. Your responsibilities will include writing and issuing checks with precision and adhering to established financial protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue checks for various payments, including vendor payments and employee reimbursements.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all payment information.
  • Maintain payment records and files.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding payment status.
  • Assist in the development of payment processing procedures and policies.
  • Regularly update and maintain financial documentation.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in payment processing or related field
Technical Skills
  • Electronic check writing software
Soft Skills

  • Time management skills
