Job Description

We are seeking an Aquatics Specialist to manage and oversee our aquatic programs. The ideal candidate will ensure safety, cleanliness, and provide exceptional customer service. This role involves teaching swimming lessons and supervising staff in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of aquatic programs while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Conduct training for lifeguards and swim instructors to ensure high service standards.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and efficiently.
  • Plan and host special aquatic events, enhancing community engagement with water activities.
  • Promote wellness and safety through educational programs related to swimming and water safety.
  • Monitor and maintain swimming pool water quality and overall facility cleanliness.
  • Collaborate with local schools and organizations for swim programs and outreach.
  • Encourage and promote safe swimming practices within the community.
  • Assist the Aquatics Director in budget management and program development.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred but not always required
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience as a swim instructor, aquatics director, or similar role
