Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst to join our Detroit office. In this role, you'll be responsible for testing our software applications and reporting on quality metrics. Your expertise will guide our development teams in delivering high-quality products that meet user needs and expectations.

Responsibilities

• Generate and review test scenarios for new features and functionalities.
• Identify, report, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Participate in Sprint Reviews and offer input for quality improvements.
• Conduct load and performance testing to evaluate system reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
• Advocate for QA principles and best practices within the organization.
• Participate in training sessions for new QA tools and methodologies.
• Help maintain testing documentation for future reference and compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in software testing and QA methodologies

Technical Skills

• API Testing
• Cucumber

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Effective Communication

Certifications

• Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Database Testing: Experience in testing SQL databases and queries.
• Experience with Continuous Integration: Familiarity with CI tools like Jenkins.
