Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain sawing machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Interpret blueprints and specifications to determine cutting requirements.
• Measure and mark shingles accurately for cutting.
• Cut shingles to specified dimensions and shapes.
• Inspect cut shingles for quality and compliance with standards.
• Troubleshoot and maintain cutting equipment as necessary.
• Follow strict safety protocols, ensuring a safe work environment.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
• Keep the work area organized and clean.
• Train new operators on equipment and safety procedures.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in shingle cutting or related fields preferred

Languages
