As an Operating Room Surgical Technician, you will play a crucial role in our surgical team, preparing the operating room, assisting during surgeries, and ensuring a sterile environment. Your skills and attention to detail will contribute significantly to patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the surgical environment, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and operational.
• Collaborate with surgical staff to ensure smooth operations during procedures.
• Document surgical procedures accurately, including supplies used and patient status.
• Assist with cleaning and sterilizing surgical instruments post-procedure.
• Stay current on surgical procedures and best practices to ensure high-quality care.
• Support anesthesiologists and nurses in preparing patients for surgery.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training.
• Help maintain inventories and order supplies when necessary.
• Evaluate and report any discrepancies in surgical processes to the supervisor.
