Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a Mental Health and Substance Abuse Social Worker, where you will provide critical support to individuals struggling with mental health issues and substance abuse. This impactful role involves advocacy and direct assistance to improve clients' quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate individual client cases and tailor service delivery.
  • Provide group and individual counseling sessions.
  • Facilitate support groups for clients dealing with similar challenges.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
  • Create educational materials to support client engagement and understanding.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to improve client outcomes.
  • Encourage and empower clients to advocate for themselves.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Social Work or a related field is preferred
Experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in mental health or substance abuse services
