Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Geothermal Operating Engineer to oversee the operation and maintenance of our geothermal power plants. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient production of electricity from geothermal resources, while also promoting sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations and maintenance schedules for geothermal facilities.
  • Ensure that all equipment is functioning optimally and safely.
  • Prepare reports on plant performance and maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate with external contractors for maintenance and repairs.
  • Conduct detailed troubleshooting and root cause analysis for system failures.
  • Implement and uphold best practices in energy efficiency.
  • Engage with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with local and federal standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or similar
  • Master's degree is preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in geothermal or renewable energy operations
