Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Councilman to represent the interests of our community effectively. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with municipal departments to address constituent services.
  • Participate in drafting and revising local legislation.
  • Engage in public speaking to represent the council at community events.

  • Advocate for funding and resources to support community initiatives.
  • Negotiate with local organizations for support on community programs.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and public safety officials.
  • Present policy recommendations to the council for approval.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or Political Science
  • Master's degree in a related field is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in community organizing or local government.
