Job Description

We are seeking a Medical Equipment Repairer to contribute to our mission of providing high-quality healthcare through reliable medical equipment. In this role, you will be tasked with troubleshooting and repairing medical devices, conducting inspections and preventive maintenance, and collaborating with healthcare teams. Your work will directly impact patient outcomes by ensuring that equipment is safe and operational.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on various medical devices.
  • Implement corrective measures for equipment malfunctions and document actions.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and hospital policies regarding equipment usage.
  • Provide training and guidance to medical personnel on the proper use of equipment.
  • Assist in the development of best practices for medical equipment maintenance.
  • Review and update maintenance logs and equipment inventories regularly.
  • Participate in departmental meetings to discuss maintenance issues and updates.

Requirements

Education
  • Associate's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or a related field
  • Certification as a Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintaining and repairing medical equipment.
