Picking Table Worker

Job Description

As a Picking Table Worker, you will play a key role in our warehouse operations by efficiently sorting and organizing items on the picking table. You’ll ensure all products are properly labeled and categorized for easy retrieval.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and efficient order picking using handheld scanners.
• Identify and select products according to customer orders.
• Ensure proper labeling and packaging of picked orders.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization at the picking table.
• Contribute to achieving team goals and timelines.
• Follow safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members on tasks and procedures.
• Report any discrepancies or quality issues to supervisors.
• Help with inventory management and documentation.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred

Technical Skills

• Attention to detail
• Basic computer literacy

Soft Skills

• Teamwork and collaboration
• Effective communication

Certifications

• Valid forklift operator certification (if applicable)

Advantageous

• Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment: Hands-on experience with handling equipment to improve efficiency.
