Cage Maker

Job Description

Join our company as a Cage Maker! You will be responsible for building custom animal enclosures and crates. The right candidate will demonstrate proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as a good eye for detail and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Cut and shape materials for construction of animal enclosures.
• Monitor and ensure quality control throughout the assembly process.
• Work with team members to complete projects on schedule.
• Keep detailed logs of inventory and material usage.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fabrication.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working.
• Assist in training new team members as needed.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in carpentry, metalworking, or related fields.

Technical Skills

• Blueprint Reading
• Hand and Power Tools
• Problem-solving

• Time Management

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Veterinary Settings: Prior experience in a veterinary or animal care environment is advantageous.
• CNC Machine Knowledge: Familiarity with CNC machines is a plus for precision fabrication.
