Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Rail Yard Engineer/Dinkey Driver to operate and manage our dinkey locomotives efficiently. This position requires strong expertise in handling materials within designated rail yards, ensuring the safe transport of goods and personnel.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the dinkey locomotive within yard limits.
• Manage the loading and unloading of materials as instructed.
• Conduct pre-operation checks and report issues promptly.
• Collaborate with yard staff to ensure operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of daily operations and incidents.
• Assist with training new drivers when necessary.
• Stay updated on industry safety standards and protocols.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year experience driving dinkey locomotives or similar vehicles.

Certifications

• Heavy Machinery Operation Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
