Switchboard Operator

Job Description

As a Switchboard Operator, you will oversee the trading operations and manage the execution of trades within our exchange. Your role is crucial in ensuring compliance with industry regulations while communicating effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Execute and confirm trades while ensuring compliance with legal standards.
• Collaborate with the Risk Management team to maintain effective controls.
• Handle client inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
• Track and report all trading activities to management.
• Assist in developing training materials for new operators.
• Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams for trading issues.
• Regularly update trading manuals to reflect current practices.
• Support the implementation of new trading technologies.
• Work on special projects related to trading operations as assigned.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field

Experience

• 2-5 years in trading or exchange operations preferred

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Bloomberg Terminal
• Python/R

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Decision-making

Certifications

• Series 7 License
• Additional financial certifications are a plus.

Languages

• English: Fluent
