Job Description

As an Air Traffic Controller, you will oversee the safe and orderly flow of air traffic in the skies above and at airports. Your role involves coordinating with pilots and other personnel to ensure the safe arrival and departure of aircraft.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage the air traffic flow to maximize safety and efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with pilots, ground crew, and other air traffic controllers.
  • Oversee the operations of air traffic control facilities during various shifts.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local aviation regulations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior controllers.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation or related field
  • Completion of an FAA-approved Air Traffic Control program
Experience
  • 1+ years of operational experience in air traffic control or aviation
