Job Description

Join our team as an Insurance Claims and Policy Processing Clerk, where you'll have the opportunity to engage with and support our customers through the claims process. You will utilize your strong analytical capabilities to assess claims against our policies and guidelines, ensuring fair and accurate outcomes for all parties involved.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and process incoming insurance claims to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Conduct thorough investigations of claims to validate information and prevent fraud.
  • Communicate claim statuses and outcomes to customers in a clear and respectful manner.
  • File and maintain electronic records of claims and relevant documentation.
  • Work closely with underwriters and legal advisors for complex claims.
  • Manage the claims processing workflow efficiently and effectively.
  • Adhere to established deadlines and maintain timely communication with all stakeholders.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss claims processing updates and challenges.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or related field
  • Additional certifications in insurance or claims processing preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in claims adjudication or a similar role within the insurance industry.
