Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Knapsack Sprayer Operator to join our agricultural team. Your primary responsibilities will include the operation of sprayer equipment, pesticide application, and maintaining accurate records of chemicals used.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate knapsack sprayer equipment safely and efficiently.
• Apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers with precision.
• Monitor crop health and identify signs of pest issues.
• Collaborate with team members on optimal spraying schedules.
• Record spraying activities, application rates, and weather conditions.
• Ensure environmental compliance and safety standards are met.
• Conduct maintenance on equipment for optimal performance.
• Continuously learn about agricultural practices and crop protection.
• Utilize effective communication with team members.
• Report any equipment malfunctions to supervisors.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certifications in pesticide application preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in crop spraying or related field.
