Job Description

As a Nickel Plater at Innovative Metal Finishing Co., you will be responsible for applying nickel plating to various materials. You should possess extensive knowledge of nickel plating techniques, surface preparation, and quality control procedures. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and dedicated to maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities

• Handle the preparation and surface treatment of various materials for plating.
• Apply nickel plating and ensure a uniform coating across surfaces.
• Inspect plating outputs and suggest adjustments to processes for quality assurance.
• Participate in routine maintenance and repairs of plating machinery.
• Document all relevant production records and quality inspection results.
• Work alongside team members to troubleshoot equipment failures.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and optimal working conditions.
• Train staff on new plating technologies and methods.
• Facilitate communication between departments for workflow improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Technical diploma or equivalent in manufacturing or metal finishing

Experience

• Experience with automated plating systems is a plus

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of electroplating processes
• Electrical current handling

Soft Skills

• Analytical skills
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with other metal plating processes: Knowledge of techniques such as chrome plating is beneficial.
• Experience in quality control procedures: Background in ensuring standards in plating outputs is an advantage.
