Job Description

The Weapons Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated weapons systems. Collaborating with other engineering teams, this role ensures that our weapon systems are effectively integrated with other military solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop weapon system components adhering to military standards.
• Conduct analyses to resolve performance discrepancies in weapons systems.
• Engage with management to strategize project timelines and deliverables.
• Perform risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate training sessions for team members on advanced weapons technologies.
• Ensure that all designs comply with applicable safety regulations.
• Cultivate relationships with stakeholders to gather feedback on system performance.
• Advise on system integration processes and methodologies.
• Analyze and interpret data from tests to refine designs.
• Document results and methodologies to maintain organizational records.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Mechanical or Systems Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in weapons systems development.
