Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Jewel Inspector to evaluate and authenticate precious stones and metals. Your assessments will ensure that our jewelry meets the highest industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess diamonds, gemstones, and precious metals to determine quality.
• Document and report any defects, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with the design team to assist with new jewelry projects.
• Provide expert advice to sales staff regarding product knowledge.
• Train and mentor new employees in jewelry inspection protocols.
• Use CAD software to aid in jewelry design understanding.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Jewelry Design, Gemology, or a related field
• Professional certification in gemology or jewelry appraisal

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a jewel inspector or appraiser

Advantageous
