Materials Inspector

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Materials Inspector to join our dynamic team. This role requires inspecting raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality assurance, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Utilize testing equipment to measure material properties and characteristics.
• Assess and monitor the effectiveness of quality control systems in place.
• Investigate customer complaints related to product quality.
• Support the development of quality management training for staff.
• Analyze statistical data to determine quality performance metrics.
• Participate in supplier evaluations to ensure quality standards.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in materials inspection

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Six Sigma or Lean methodologies: Proven capability in optimizing processes for efficiency.
